Recently Apple’s internet browser, Safari, has been released for Windows. It’s currently in beta and yet with this release, in 48 hours there were over 1 million downloads, according to Apple. Now that’s a lot of downloads in two days. I downloaded the 8.0 MB browser, and had a clean installation. When comparing the browser to Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, Safari starts up and loads the page faster. However, since it’s in beta it doesn’t work well enough for a regular internet user like me; check out the pics below to see why.

Like I said the browser is still in beta version.

Make your Blog for Internet Explorer
I use Firefox majority of the time, because I love the tab feature, which IE 6.0 doesn’t have. I have Windows XP and I didn’t install IE 7 because it gave me hell when I installed it on my laptop. There’s a lot of downloads of the Firefox browser, but the truth is more people use Internet Explorer than they use Mozilla Firefox. I checked out my statistics for my past websites for three years, and more people use IE than they use any other browsers.

Test with Internet Explorer
Whenever you create a new site or write a new blog post, make sure you check how the page looks like in Internet Explorer. If you came across this site with IE in the past then you probably saw this page unstructured. Fortunately, when I wasn’t at home I used computers which only had IE to view my site. I saw and fixed the problem on my site immediately, and ever since then I always checked up to see how my site looks with Internet Explorer.

So, in your next blog post release be a “right clicka” and check to see how your site looks on Internet Explorer.

What do you think, do you think checking on IE is unnecessary?
