Building good relationships with your readers is a great important factor when blogging. Good bloggers should always give great considerations to the opinions and questions his or her readers send.

I get a ton of emails everyday from my readers. I don’t stress out, I’m actually happy that I get them. I’m glad that I’m getting a great feedback from my readers and I reply to them ASAP.

What do you mean be prompt?

Reply Quickly. If you get an email from your readers asking about how to do this or how to do that, even if it takes you time to explain it, reply to them ASAP. By doing so your readers will take you seriously.

Give Attention. Your readers are intelligent individuals looking for information. Now I say they’re “intelligent” not becuase I’m a nice guy, but because only intelligent people will come to a blog to find knowledge. And intelligent people needs proper attention; so, when you reply to them, write to them well and give them attention to respect their individualism.

Be Helpful. Now this has two parts to it; there is being helpful as in giving a paid service, and there is being helpful in just being a good person. As you can see I’m doing both :) . I charge to install WordPress and setup the technical stuff, but for the most part my advice and everything else is free. Being helpful is what makes the blogpshere unique. Bloggers help each other and share ideas with each other.

Comment Back. When a reader comments on your posts, don’t just look at it, comment back. Give them the individual attention they deserve for commenting on your post. As you can see from my posts I do it to the best of my abilities.

I remember getting a bit upset when John wrote my review on the last day before my order expired, but afterwards I was happy that he did, since he got my blog’s latest updates on the review. He probably had other customers before me and he replied to my emails quickly so it’s ok.

I hope this helps in building good relationships with your readers. Do you think fast reply is important?
