I’m not going to write a long article and bore you; I’m going to jump to the point. When you want to make the maximum amount of money based on your site’s potential you have to make sure your site is modified to make that amount of money.

I experiemented and experimented and improved with the AdSense ad colors. After a while I bought AdSense Gold’s AdSense Tracker and with the tracker I tested the colors myself with various colors and I found that the color #000080, for the main ad title for the AdSense ad, is the most effective color. The reason is most internet users already know that a blue colored, underlined, word means that it’s a link so, they click on it; however, the traditional blue color wasn’t as effective as the dark blue color #000080. I researched and for some wiered reason the dark blue color with the HTML code, #000080, is more effective then the traditional default navy blue color.

As for the ad background, the best color is plain white, #FFFFFF. White background displays the ad very well with the dark blue title link. The text and the URL, that is displayed below the title link, should be black #000000, or grey #808080. You can also make the URL to be the AdSense default color green #008000 and it would still work well, but stay with those colors unless you find a better reference that will work with a different color combination.

Also, a quicktip, remember to try to fit in the big 336 x 280 AdSense ad in your pages for maximum results. Majority of my AdSense money comes from the 336 x 280 ad.
