1) Write down all the bad things your X has done to you in the past. Not just major things, but everything, from the big things to the most littlest things that he or she has done to you to harm you or to hurt you. Make sure you write it in detail, the more you write the better. Make sure you write it neatly so it’ll be easy to read.
2) Read what you wrote about five times. It’s going to hurt at first when you read it; however, it’ll help you on the long run. When ever you miss your X read what you wrote over and over again till you find something else to occupy your time. Also, try exercising daily and surround your self with friends and family, which will always help.
Before you know it you’ll be back to normal and you’ll be fully healed with time; time heals everything. I may be criticized for writing this post, because this method advocates hatred and anger towards one’s X, but I believe anger is required, if not that, then what?
