I recently thought back of my work years in Macy’s and how I managed to gain an impressive sales record, over 600% sales and in credit applications over my goal in a six months period. My success lead my manger to sit me down and ask me how I managed to gain so many sales and credit applications above all my co-workers in my department. I told her that the entire concept was simple, treat the customers like the way you would like to be treated. Of course everyone wants to be treated fairly, and what’s better to get treated fairly than from a sales person with a friendly manner, while shopping. My friendly manner is what I showed to my customers. I pushed my self to always make customers come first, then the money.

The same concept goes to blog readers. If you have a blog and if you want more visitors/readers then make your blog for them. Don’t think about the money and don’t make a blog just to make money, instead make a blog that could offer your readers something valuable like news, tutorials, advice etc. and other content that are useful to them. Make sure your readers come first. The way you present your content properly on your blog is how to show respect for your readers. Your readers are your customers and so your income comes from their satisfaction.

So, do your best to make sure your readers have the best experience when they come to your blog. By doing so they will become loyal readers and they will be more involved with your blog.
