I am running Google Chrome OS right now from CD. It took four times as long as windows does to load……. I would like to have it as my only and main OS. How do I install it as you would install windows to my hard drive?

Since Chromium OS is open source (supposidly) and people have created their own builds, has anyone compiled one without the Google information harvesting code? Has anyone went through the source code to see if it even does harvest information? I want Chrome OS, but I don’t want it to harvest my personal information.
