If you ever go to a web site that updates constantly then you go there may be because there is something new to see on that site. The same concept goes to all sites on the web; if you keep your site up to date often, then you will see your visitors coming back over and over again. If you keep your site the same for more than two days then obviously you will loose visitors. The best way to understand this concept is by putting your self in your visitors’ position; if you went to CNN.com and saw the same news in their frontpage then you won’t have any interests but since that site adds new news often, you feel like seeing their new content.

The same thing goes to search engines. Search engine robots often goes all over the web and indexes sites, if you update your site often then the robots will come back to index your site frequently since it’ll notice something new on your site.

So, add new content frequently becuase it will keep your visitors, your traffic, flowing through your site.
