Basically if you want something done, do it yourself. No one else will have the interest of doing your job other than yourself. If you needed some work to finish and it will benefit you then the best person to do it is yourself.

All through out my high school years and my college years I learned that no one will help me to get through life except myself. I can’t depend on anyone to get me a job, get a car, or even get settled period. If I want something in life, I have to work to get it myself. It will only benefit me so I have to work on it myself.

So, if you think your friend or even your dad will always help you get this or that, then you’re in a dependable state of mind which is bad in the long run. They may get whatever you want for you here and there, but sooner or later you will have to work on something yourself in order to get it. Because you’ll have no where to go, if who ever you depend on, can’t do your work or get you what you need.

The best thing is if you want to get somewhere in life then be independent and self fullfilling. Don’t rely on others so you can benefit.
