With the bigger ad my blog didn’t get better CTR, so i changed to the 234×60 near to the content and got a great CTR. I’d like to say also that this bigger ad makes the page looks like uglier.

Do you eran $1k/mo just with this blog, or do you have some others?

Rafel, the money comes from two sites together. But in my opinion the large 336 square ad is the best based on the posiiton on the page. $500/mont is excellent! Unfortunately for me I can’t keep all of the money I earned due to my credit card debt. But I’m hoping this blog will get me excessive cash.

Have to totally agree with you. Changed the format of my ad layout and it made a significant difference. Did this before reading your post…and based it off of Jane Chin…I am not sure how well she monetizes her site, but my gut feel is that she does well.

AdSense code after the blog title (section B in this case) didn’t work so well on my blog. CTR was extremely poor.

After some experimenting I found that placing AdSense between my post title and content works best. CTR increased tremdously since making the change in early June!

Well I didn’t really focus on area B. I mostly focused on area D for the most amount of click. As for your AdSense success, congrats, at least you are testing to see what works, but the possibilities of money making positions are endless.

I tried blending 300*250 text image rectangle in my blog individual post page like http://www.softwaretestinghelp.com/difference-between-desktop-client-server-and-web-testing/

but i couldent managed to make content and add split verticaly and i ended up with the current add placement (I changed size to large rect)

Can you plz guide me how can I place the add like your’s top adsense add in content?

I have to agree about placing your Google ads on the left hand side. We do this with our website at www.justlovinglife.com. Any thoughts on the color of the links? Some say to use the regular blue color but I wonder whether it is better to blend it in with the website colors.

Very interesting! How about picture ads vs text ads? I get conflicting advice on that piece. For some, picture ads earnings are significantly more than text-only ads. And some bloggers stick by text ads. Even Google advices against picture only ads.

Any findings on that?

well what about using blogger like I am…my adsense sucks but…maybe is my content I don’t know…I am at wits end…but I will tell you what…I have more this month than I have the previous 12…so maybe I am doing something right. I guess…I need to break the 1k mark period..
