FaceBook is Becoming to be No Better than MySpace

FaceBook is probably considered to be the most popular social networking website for college students, and MySpace could be considered the most popular social networking website in the world. MySpace has around 190,000,000 users and for FaceBook, itâ€™s unknown, since the site doesnâ€™t reveal it.

FaceBook feels better than MySpace because it has more features and less clutter in each page and there are hardly any errors when the pages load up. Not only that, FaceBook pages load faster than MySpace pages.

I favored FaceBook over MySpace because of the ease of use and the simplicity that FaceBook has. However, ever since FaceBook released their API to third parties Iâ€™ve been seeing many annoying modules on peopleâ€™s pages.

Itâ€™s ok to have these modules to a certain point but after a certain point it is just ridiculous.

FaceBook is Becoming to be No Better than MySpace

FaceBook is loosing its touch to be a simple social networking site, with all these new modules being added left and right by users, there could be a possibility that FaceBook will loose to be a great social networking site.

I used to be a FaceBook addict but ever since all these new features spurred about, Iâ€™ve stopped going to the site as much.

So, what do you think? If you are a MySpace and a FaceBook user, do you think FaceBook is becoming to be no better than MySpace?

Good Point. I am constantly installing and uninstalling modules. The only one I really like is the Chip In Widget.

I used MySpace before, but I don’r really like it.. Lately, I’ve used friendster.. never used facebook

There’s an old expression: “Keep It Simple, Stupid!” It is interesting how complex these programs get ’til no one knows how to use them, then someone comes by with something simpler, which replaces the program no one can use, then.. they start to add layers of complexity… On and on it goes….

I just used facebook….i haven’t used friendster though I’ve heard a zillion of people are using it….need some time to familiarize it…..

@Dave: Yeah, those modules are annoying though

@John: MySpace has too many errors

@cikgu: yeah friendster has really improved and it’s cleaner than myspace

@shahid: what are you talking about???

@Michael: i know, it repeats it self everytime

@Derek: yeah, facebook is going to go down with the direction that it’s going in

@zaki: well every month they change a major feature so its hard to get a grasp on it

In my country, friendster is more popular… But I am with facebook now in addition.. Finding facebook quite easy to use, very simple interface… no experience with myspace at all.. i think i should get one soon
