I haven’t seen any Indian movies for a long time and so I decided to go see one of the latest ones. I recently saw Good Boy Bad Boy and I must say I enjoyed watching it. This had the idea of the typical Indian film of love; however, this movie was quite different. This movie was revolved around college students and the conflicts and resolutions that were held among students.

Good Boy Bad Boy has elements different from other Hindi films. In this film Rajan, a nerd, gets hooked up with a spirited and yet a low-grade girl, Dinki, in his college. Not only that, but Raju, a bad boy type of student, falls for Rashmi, a girl who excels in academics and also the principal’s daughter.

In the film Raju and Rajan both have the same last name, which is Malhotra, and while a college staff member was making their ID cards, he accidentally switched their pictures with each other’s names. This accident gets Raju and Rajan to switch classes which creates problems that builds up to the climax of the film.

Some critics say the movie has pointless dialogues, which I agree on, but over all I think this was a good movie. The movie got bad ratings due to the bad costumes and the lack of participation of the two main female characters, Dinki and Rashmi. More other elements contributed to the bad ratings, but even though the film wasn’t much of a hit I still enjoyed it.

I don’t why I enjoyed the film, I think it’s basically due to the music. However, if you get a chance to see the movie for free go see it, but I don’t recommend you pay to watch it.
