We all know what the “American Dream” is; working hard in America, taking advantage of all the oppurtunities the country offers, and to be successful by rasing one’s standard of living. Before, I thought the American dream is only for the few who migrated to America. However, after thinking about what Google achieved in the past two years, an online business owner can see that Google has helped alot of people achieve the American dream.

Google gave the opportunity to the little guys to increase their wealth through the internet. Before, there were not many companies that would approve someone who owned a single small site. I tried ValueClick and Azoogle but I got rejected and my site wasn’t big enough or good enough to be in their publisher network. Google changed all that; Google gave everyone an oppurtunity to make money. Weather your site was about gadgets or pillows Google would give you a chance to make money.

Google gave me the oppurtunity to make money and to save myself from alot of my credit card debts. I would not be able to pay for alot of things if it wasn’t for Google. Google even helped me pay for my college books.

Alot of companies are now imitating Google because they know they have made alot of mistakes by excluding the little guys, like me, and they are regreting it. I support Google and the products that Google is releasing. And in the future if my business gets very big I won’t show ads from the same advertising companies that rejected me.

Alot of people became millionaires from Google’s advertising programs and some even quit their 9-5 day job to work on their website with Google ads. Google has truly pushed the American Dream on the web. Now, we can only hope better things from Google’s innovations.
