Today I had a chat with Divya Uttam of Blogging to Fame and we discussed about web site traffic and about DesiNotes.com.

She gave me alot of good advice on keywords and getting search engine traffic. Since my blog is a bit too broad in topics I am going to take it to a narrower direction. This blog is based on advice and therefore I will make it a blog full of free advice. The previous posts will remain as they are now, but for my future posts I will include important keywords with the content flow to get more search engine traffic. The categories will also remain as how they are now.

Since this site’s domain name is well known and the site’s popularity is growing slowly, I won’t change the domain name. Everything will be as it is now but it will be tweaked with a narrower theme of just an advice blog.

On a previous post I mentioned that blogs with a broad range of topics have a hard time getting a niche and I don’t know what niche this site will get into, but now I decided to go after the niche of “advice”.

So in the upcoming weeks let’s see if this site can attain more traffic.
