Blogging is a way of communicating to a huge number of audiences but sometimes the message the blogger is sending is not fully comprehended by his/her readers. I’ve seen blogs use sophisticated words to a level that I don’t even understand them even if I used a dictionary.
Simplicity is the Best
Whether you agree with it or not, simplicity is the best method in gaining a strong audience. Giving the audience a simple way to find what they want the easiest way is the best. In the case of blogging, give your readers a simple way to get and understand the information that you’re trying to project.
Use common words and write extra sentences to make sure your point is understood by your readers. The more you write relating to your point, the better it is for your readers to comprehend you.
If you think there is some sophistication in a word or a phrase, then explain it well. In my previous posts you can see that I write “what is …” in bold to organize the understanding of what means what.
Helping readers to understand is a core concept of communications of blogs. If the readers don’t understand what you’re saying then there’s no point of him or her coming to your blog.
So, work well in making sure that your posts are well understood by your readers. The more clearly your writing is to them, the more interaction there is between you and your readers.

What seems readable to the writer is not always easy on the reader. I find myself using lots of weird/old English words because the are are almost the same as some common Swedish words.

I often find myself spending too much time, trying to explain. Very often I will end up writing at something entirely different. Then I spend more time, correcting what I just did
But yes, overall I agree on your point. But I do think it can be a mistake to go too deep. I know from myself, that when I just look at a post which is very long, I will most likely be on my way somewhere else. It depends, though..

Hey Sunny!
After the review from JC, you’re blogging too much about ‘blogging’! I liked your blog the way it was before!

Absolutely.. If the readers couldn’t understand what’s the blogmaster message, then it’s no point of writing it..

I agree that we should always blog in simple terms but it is also difficult sometimes to explain everything to the basic readers.. I think it all boils down to what are the groups of readers are you targeting.

@AmeyJah: Thanks
@Johan: simplicity is the best, especially in words
@Jakob: yeah i can understand what you mean, but revising often while writing helps to prevent yourself from going off subject
@John: truely, they are
@NetBusinessBlogger: i do have some other things to talk about, just wait and you’ll see in upcoming posts
@cikgu: exactly
@KC: still, too much simplicity is annoying but being simple, in general, is good
@Alan: you’re right
@JennyHow: yeah, especially when it deals with technocal terms

I tried various ways of writing my blog…. Really short entry… really long entry… something different.. something relevent.. Every way makes a difference in the people who are looking at my blog. I am settling down with writing reviews about the various internet businesses, how to do this how to do that and even articles now
