Imeem.com is a site that offers users to upload songs, make playlists, and embed them on web pages for free with a Flash player. When visitors visit that page, they have the choice to listen to whichever songs the imeem’s user has on his or her playlist from the Flash player, but they can’t download it. On imeem.com you have the choice of buying it on Amazon.com or on iTunes. Some of these songs are done by singers who are not with any record companies so buying their songs is out of the question.

I’m a music fan and there are times when I go to myspace.com, in some people’s pages, sometimes they have the imeem player embedded with nice songs playing, which I never heard of before. However, the song’s artist or the album’s name isn’t listed with the song. So, do you really think I accept of not owning those songs by anonymous singers? NO, I found a way to download them.

To Get the mp3s
To get your hands on imeem’s mp3s, it consists of three parts: locating the song’s page’s URL from imeem.com, then downloading the flv, then converting that flv file to mp3.

Step 1
Download DVDVIDEOSOFT’s Free Video to mp3 converter and install it.

Step 2
Download the flv file from imeem.com that contains the song you want. From FeelingTea.com, download the flv file the same way you download YouTube videos. From FeelingTea.com just enter the URL of the song from imeem.com in the top white box and press “GET”.

Step 3
After you have downloaded the flv file of the song you want from imeem.com, go ahead and start up the Free Video to mp3 converter program. In the input field (blue) locate the flv file of the song that you have just downloaded, then in the output field (red) name and point to the folder of where you want the outputted mp3 file to be placed. Set up the quality settings (green) of the mp3 below the output field and then press “Convert”.

And that’s it, within 10 seconds or so, depending on your computer speed, you should have your mp3.
