In all of my years of college I have figured out that it’s not that hard to get good grades in college. Each type of classs you take depends on how you study and prepare yourself for tests, presentations, and essays.
Chemistry (General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, etc.) and Physics
Chemistry is very hard to understand for most students but if you take the time and sit down then it’s not that hard at all. Upper level of chemistry such as Organic Chemistry takes nothing but practice of problems over and over again to fully comprehend the concept to do well in tests. Physics requires the same method to succeed in its field.
English, History, Social Studies
In English, History, and Social Studies classes writing essays can be hard for some students. However, if you go through your essays several times and go to English labs, which should be offered in your college to help students in writing papers, then you should be fine. The best thing to do is not to wait to write your essays at the last minute, you should begin to write it at least a week before it’s due.
Other Classes
Other classes such as Biology, Speech classes, or even Business classes that require memorization as well as understanding of the concepts are fairly easy if you sit down with the books and just study.
The hardest part of studying is just getting yourself to st down with the books and begin to study. However, after you start it is fair game to study easily. Make sure you have no distractions and you study at a quiet place. Make sure you eat well before you begin to study; do your best not to eat a very full meal because it may make you sleepy leading you to stray away from studying.

I think that good time management is useful in learning. It’s because most student live their lives doing all kinds of things. Trying to fit everything in a day can be hard with out time management.

The willingness of a student may be a factor on getting good grades. They don’t usually concentrate on subjects they do good. I think that they need motivation to go through with the problem. As forcing something will result into frustration.

I was add that, at least for chemistry, it helps to figure out if you learn best by memorization or by understanding. Once you have learned that, you should play to that strength.
