When creating a web site you should concentrate on one theme. Such as AdSense-Nation.com, which concentrates on giving information out on running a business online. You should not stray away from the main theme of your site when creating content. Sometimes the subject your site is about may not always have many resources; however, it’s a good oppurtunity to be creative and original. Google loves sites that are unique and have quality content that cannot be not found in many other sites.
Before you start a site I suggest you make an outline of the sections and categories of your site with detailed information so it’ll help you organize your site easily.

Make sure you at least have the following pages:

- Home
- News/Updates
- About
- Contact

Having home page is important because it will be the first page the visitor will see upon entering the site. The home page will be the page with the most hits.

News/Updates page is important because visitors want to see the progress of the site. You should continously update your site by adding new content often. The more often you add content the more your visitors will come back to your site over and over again. And you should report what you updated on your News/Update page becuase some visitors who did not come one day will want to know what they missed. News/Updates doesn’t always have to be a page, it could be a section on the side or on the corner of your home page. You can also make News/Updates in the form of a blog, which is vey popular. For those who do not know what a blog is, it’s an online journal. So, you can make an online journal of the progress of your site.

An About page is not that important, but you should include it on your site, especially if your site is a fan club or something that is non-commercial. Visitors who are hooked on to your site will be interested on who ever created it. On your about page you should include a little bit about your self and why you created your site. The information on your About page should not be brief instead, elaborate it.

Contact page is very important. If your visitors have a question about the services you give or the content you write you should let them be able to contact you. If you interact with your visitors often you’ll have a better chance of them coming back to your site. If you really think about it, try to imagine yourself in their position and what you want in the sites that you go to. If you give special attention to your visitors then your visitors will feel positive and they will come back to your site and they may also recommend your site to their friends.
