If you haven’t noticed it, I have changed my URL formatting of my posts. I know by doing this I’m going to loose a lot of referrals to my posts but deep linking is very useful. When it comes to Google and other search engines, deep linking will help in the ranking of my site.

What is deep linking?
Deep linking is taking the top-level domain like http://www.desinotes.com and linking an article to it like http://www.desinotes.com/one-of-worlds-prettiest-women-got-married/ and that’s it.

I should’ve set up the current URL format when I started blogging, but that was one of my past mistakes so, I’m learning to improve. WordPress does an excellent job giving its users the option to modify blogs’ URLs easily. If you are starting blog consider using WordPress as your blog platform, in my opinion. And before launching your blog make sure you set it up to deep link.
