I think one of the things that AdSense Publishers can’t understand is how to attract more clicks. If you think about it, then it’s not as hard as you may think. A smart publisher can get more clicks with 500 unique hits than another publisher who recieves 2000 unique hits.

I have methods that doubled and sometimes tripled the amount of clicks I recieved. One of the first things you should know is how to place the AdSense ads so your visitors can see them; Increasing Ads Visibility.

If you slam the ads in their faces by mixing it within the content then you will have a better chance of getting more clicks. However, by Google’s terms, do NOT tell them to click on the ads, otherwise you will be banned.

The basics of me getting more clicks was by placing images next to the ads. The images helped ALOT. No matter which pages the ads were on the click through rate shot up through the roof.
