Indian Child Plays with King Cobra Snake

I’m not a parent nor do I look after any kids, but I still have the common sense of protecting any child. However, some parents don’t really have the same common sense nor the intelligence to realize when to protect their children. The video below shows an event somewhere in India where a child is placed in front of a deadly king cobra snake. I don’t know weather it was for amusement or for some ritual, but the snake attacked the child several times and the child didn’t seem to show getting injured.

All I can say is that some indians are asshole…play with elephant, tiger, lion, snakes etc…Full of idiots..

some indians are senseless in the way of allowing their children to play with dangerous animals. Those indians are probably uneducated. As you know more than 50% of india’s population are uneducated. Educated indians would not even do that.

OH MY GOSH!!!! i am a mother of 2 and CAN NOT imagine what the #### is going through this baby’s parents. cobra’s mouth is sewn or not IT IS WRONG!!!

snake’s fangs must be removed,otherwise the baby wud be dead in no time..it is WRONG!!!some asshole is even videotaping without removing the snake from the child..the guy should be punished..

I HAVE A 8MONTH OLD BABY ABD WHOEVER VIDEOTAPED THIS SHOULD BE ARRESTED AND GIVEN THE DEATH PENALTY. BEFORE THEY HELPED THE BABY THE FILMED THIS S@%! AND ON THE NEWS THEY SAID THE SNAKE STRANGLED THE BABY FUCKING IDIOTS

As much as I think the guy who filmed this is crazy, I don’t think the baby’s family did this for fun. It looks like the people belonged to the snake charmer’s tribe and if that is true, it goes without saying that they raise snakes and do street side shows for a living. Its their way of life to be with snakes. They obviously know more about the behaviour and the danger of such a venomous creature more than any of us watching this video or even the most educated herpetologists.
I really don’t have a sense of hatred for these people because such cruelty is not part of Indian culture or its people. I’m only intrigued and amazed by this weird show of play with de-fanged cobra.
