iPods are Great!

I finally got my new iPod. It actually came in 3 days earlier than expected with DHL delivery service. I was very surprised to see the size of it to be very small.

As I mentioned on a previous post I got the Apple 30 GB iPod video Black (5.5 Generation) for $240 with FREE shipping. The little iPod player is incredible. It’s black and slick looking with great easiness and smoothness of Apple technology. I really love the scrolling feature; I don’t have to press anything I just move the thumb to the right and left and my selection or my volume goes up and down.

One thing that is restrictful on this is that you can only play mp4 format videos. So , obviously I have to convert all my other videos to mp4 in order to play it on my iPod.

I converted DivX videos to iPod format videos and loaded it up and it plays very nicely on it. Also, I ordered the iPod to TV connector with the iPod, the CTA Digital IP-VIC iPod Video Cable. I connected the TV and my iPod and it plays great on my big screen TV.

All and all it’s a great little gadget to have. If I find anything useful related to this I will definately post it.

Thanks for the contest. The iPod touch is a great alternative to the iPhone and iPad. For those who already have a phone with a carrier other than AT&T, the iPod touch has most of the features of the iPhone and maybe do a few things better.
