I was checking my Page Rank recently and I found that DesiNotes.com has gained a PR 3. I was very surprised to see that. DesiNotes.com just started gaining momentum about 2-3 months ago, and it already gained a significant rank with Google.

If I continue what I’m doing then I will surely reach the same level of the big boys. All I do is write quality posts constantly and I guess people like them and they are linking to back to them without me asking for them to. As a reminder, Page Rank (PR) is a system that Google created where the more backlinks, as in non-reciprocal links, you have to your site the higher your page rank will be.

I found this useful PR checker and prediction tool. It tells you what your site’s current PR is and what PR your site may reach if it continues to get backlinks at the current rate. As of January 27th, 2007, DesiNotes.com’s current PR 3 can go up to PR 5 with 667 current backlinks and with 82% accuracy in the data.

The prediction of your future PR is only the current potential of your site. Seeing that got me motivated to work harder, smarter, and faster to gain a better PR for more traffic.

If you are a blogger then blog away and do your best to get a better page rank. Even though PR 3 isn’t much, it’s still a successful achievement for me and for my blog.
