In an earlier post, I introduced the Law of Attraction, and I explained what it was and how to apply it to your life, if you wanted to apply it. Now, I’m going to explain a key concept from the law that you may not realize, the concept of being appreciative.

Being appreciative is one of the core concepts of the Law of Attraction. In order to to get what you want later you must be thankful for what you have currently. Weather you have an old car or a house or even a cell phone you should be thankful. Some people in the world would die to have just a car regardless of how it looks or how old it is. For example, in places outside of NYC in the New York state the Subway doesn’t extend there but houses there are cheaper. If someone, who’s on a budget, lives in a house there and cannot afford to have a car to do everyday grocery shopping then he or she has to walk, which is hard for that person.

Same thing for a cell phone, when I started out college I had a crappy phone and yet I still had a phone so I can find my friends just by calling them. Some students didn’t even have one and they had a hard time finding their friends.

Appreciation is also tied to religion if you actually think about it. Saying thank you and being grateful for what you have or being in the current state is actually a type of worship to the Almighty. The Law of Attraction says there is a force in the Universe that acts like a catalog and in order to get what you want you have to be thankful; that force is the Almighty. Weather you’re a Muslim or Christian or a follower of any other religion, being thankful is tied to the force of the Almighty. This may be shocking but it’s true if you think about it.

So, if you want to apply the Law of Attraction, whenever you wake up in the morning just say thank you out of thin air for what you have. Because then you’ll get what you want without realizing it.
