For the regular readers of this site, you noticed that I begin to publish my blog posts in the afternoons, instead of publishing them in the mornings.
I know time is important to everyone and organization must be taken seriously hand-in-hand with time. In the past week I’ve learned that regular postings must be done at the same times each day so readers will know when to expect new content.
Let’s Schedule
When you want to become a serious blogger don’t let disorganization let your blogging scheduling fall apart. Create a schedule that you can easily follow and stick to it. Make sure it’s very simple and you have enough time to blog within your schedule. One of the best ways to put your schedule to work is using WordPress’s timestamp, for those who use WordPress blog. Use the feature well enough to always set your postings around the same time of the day.
I plan to take the extra effort to blog the night before to publish posts for the next day. That way I can log on in the afternoon and reply to the comments that are piling up in each of my posts. I love the comments and I love reading them and replying to them, but now I know I have to work faster and get things organized to catch up with my readers.

Yep it sure is like a helpful friend to post your articles on time, I have started using it and found it very helpful in maintaining the blog post frequency.

I don’t find time to be important. Most of the blogs I read are by RSS. Since I check my RSS 30+ times a day it doesn’t matter to me when there is an update.

I agree with your desi.. I’ve used to post in the morning around 8.a.m.. Then, I tried to change it into afternoon.. The traffic drop 20%.. And tried not to post anything.. It’s dropping almost 50%.. hehehe..
I believe blogger should work like magazine/ newspaper.. It must come out at a promised time..

Yup, it does matter how often we blog… The number of people reading will just go up and down depending on how often we blog…

Desi your are correct. Putting blogs out on time and good time management do help out a lot. If a person has time they write a set number of articles and time stamp them so they are published on certain dates. This is good if you are going to be on vacation.

@Vijay: Yep, its very helpful
@BeachBum: I wish there were more readers like you, who don’t care about time.
@cikgu: yeah you’re right, but a blog is like a magazine
@Charles: Exactly, the traffic depends on how often you create new content
@Best Gold Courses: yeah, we know John is good at that since he takes so many vacations.
@Finance Blog: yep

ambien next day…
I haven’t been up to much. I guess it doesn’t bother me. I’ve pretty much been doing nothing worth mentioning. Not much on my mind worth mentioning. Pretty much nothing notable going on , but pfft. I just don’t have much to say lately, but I don’t…
