MySpace.com, as of November 27th, 2006, has around 132,000,000 registered users. The site gets around $7 million in revenue from advertisements everyday and we all want part of it.

There is an easy way to market on MySpace.com to get hits and it’s FREE. The key to getting alot of hits with this method is with 2 things: having a lot of friends on and having a catchy title to attract them.

When it comes to having a lot of friends, it really doesn’t matter who they are, you can just go to the forums and different groups and click on random people and add them to your friends list. About 80% of the time those random people will accept you as a friend even if they don’t know you.

So how do I market?
1. Make sure you have a MySpace.com account, if not then create one.
2. Get the hang of navigating through the site.
3. Add as many friends as you can, do your best to add friends that have interests that matches your target audience.
4. Make sure you have around 500 friends; if you want then try to communicate with them to get to know them, it helps in your marketing.
5. Then go to your home page; click on “Home” on the top menu.
6. Scroll down until you see the bulletin board. As you can see from the pic below I have posted my Missed the Day-After-Thanksgiving Shopping post, it’s circled in red.

7. Click on “View All Bulletin Entries” which will take you to another page, then click on “Post Bulletin” on the next page and post a partial of your blog entry and then place link of your entry’s post. Make sure you put a catchy title in the subject field or your blog entry’s title.

Now you’re set. Give it a little time and you should be able to get traffic. Remember the more friends you have the more exposure your site will get.
