Yeah you guessed it, I missed the day-after-thanksgiving shopping. I called up one of my friends and he cursed me out for not going with him. I can’t be blamed for not going because I love my sleep and I need it. In New York the stores start their early bird sale from 12 midnight; in Atlanta majority of the stores start their sales around 6 AM. I don’t know when other cities open their stores but 6 AM in Atlanta it’s just too early for me; may be next year I’ll go but only if I get enough sleep the night before.
I remember two years ago Wal-Mart made $1 billion in sales on the day after thanksgiving, which was a new record in retail history. One company made $1 billion in one day is unbelievable. I was amazed but I wasn’t surprised because Wal-Mart annihilates any competition with their large stores and competitive pricing of quality products. No other store can match Wal-Mart, obviously since Wal-Mart is the largest company in the world and their not kidding when they say “every day low prices”, and they say it with a smile.
I called up my friend who was shopping with his girl friend, and he told me he saw a 32 inch plasma TV for $500! I was blown away and I regreted that I didn’t go.
My advice to you all, don’t make my mistake, take advantage of today if you haven’t gone yet since the day is not over yet. This day comes once a year so don’t miss out.

[…] So how do I market? 1. Make sure you have a MySpace.com account, if not then create one. 2. Get the hang of navigating through the site. 3. Add as many friends as you can, do your best to add friends that have interests that matches your target audience. 4. Make sure you have around 500 friends; if you want then try to communicate with them to get to know them, it helps in your marketing. 5. Then go to your home page; click on “Home” on the top menu. 6. Scroll down until you see the bulletin board. As you can see from the pic below I have posted my Missed the Day-After-Thanksgiving Shopping post, it’s circled in red. 7. Click on “View Bulletin Entries” which will take you to another page, then click on “Post Bulletin” on the next page and post a partial of your blog entry and then place link of your entry’s post. Make sure you put a catchy title in the subject field or your blog entry’s title. […]
