Over 9 months ago I started blogging but I never got serious about till 3 months after I created this site. Over the past months I found out more and more about how to improve a blog just by interacting with other bloggers and surfing through the blogsphere.
At the beginning of this year no matter how much I tried to stop it, I always thought of money and I tried my best to refrain from it; however, I made little success. I made this blog more into online money making than making it better for my readers. Of course this site is to learn and take notes on money making but I never really made it for my users, I was concentrating on getting the attention of the search engines.
I noticed blogs such as JohnChow.com and others have something that I don’t on this blog, FUN. I’ve noticed that my content is quite boring and I didn’t concentrate on my own advice of making this site as if I’m the reader. From now on I plan to add a bit more personality on this blog instead of money, money, money, which I didn’t quite notice till now.
So if you have a blog, weather it has little traffic or heavy traffic, make a post about your blogging mistakes, it’ll help you improve in your blogging when you look back as you improve.
If you think I have made other mistakes on this blog, then please don’t hesitate to point them out by commenting.
