I finally moved out with two freinds to an apartment closer to my college. For the past 1.5 years I have been commuting by taking GA-400 highway, which is the worst highway in the state. I have wasted so much time, energy, ans gas by commuting. I’m in my last year of college and now I have my own place to relax and study with ease.

Me and my other two room mates got a good deal with our new place. It costs us about $949, with $316 per person, total with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is part of the master bedroom and the other bathroom is in the hallway. The water is totally free in the apartment complex so we get to take a shower and wash our clothes without thinking about the water payment. It even gets better, our apartment unit comes with a washer and a dryer so we don’t have to buy them nor do we have to go anywhere to wash our clothes. We basically have to pay for our internet and electricity on top of our rent so, it may go to around $360 per person among the three of us.

My college, Georgia State University, is located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, and our apartment is 10 minutes away at The Villlages at Carver.

This entire community went to a $90 million building in what it used to be the projects in this part of Atlanta.

The following are some pictures I took of our place from our balcony.
