As you know from my blog post I’m very ambitious when it comes to any good business opportunity. One of my old associates met up with me one day and told me about Quixtar and got me to come to one of their meetings at a near by Marriott hotel. I dressed up formally and went. I found the seminar at the hotel very inspirational, unfortunately it wasn’t enough to get me motivated. I signed up with the $45 processing fee and then they wanted to charge me an additional $300 for sample products for me to try.

Quixtar has these IBOs, Independent Business Owners, and they have permission form Quixtar to run their own business. These IBOs can sell Quixtar products from their web site. I’m into online business and establishing an online business is what caught my attention.

If a person were to sign up with Quixtar then that person has to do it through a current IBO and that way the IBO can get commission from that person’s revenue. This is an MLM program that has a lot of members. Check out Web Marketing Reviews to read more about MLM programs. In this program all you do is buy products for your house online and try to get new IBOs to sign up under you. If the people under you make revenue then you make too on top of your own.

I didn’t quite understand their point system that my friend was telling me, may be that’s why I wasn’t that much into it. I heard a lot of bad stuff about Quixtar from a lot of people and my father pressured me to get out of it. I read in some reviews that they implement a lot of restrictions of how to run your business. Reality check, no one likes to be told how to run their own business and Quixtar is doing that.

In less than a month I got out of Quixtar and I had my $45 return and I didn’t even let them charge me $300 for any sample products in the beginning. I didn’t want to spend that kind of money into a company that I have little knowledge about.

In my opinion Quixtar is good for people who are into MLM and have the time to deal with it. But someone like me who can’t afford to loose money has no place in this MLM program.
