I’m no architect nor do I have any experiences in construction but you can imagine what Jean Nouvel was thinking when he proposed this High Rise Office Building for Doha in Qatar. It looks nice and all as a building, but for people in America they would recognize it to be an inspiration from a popular contraceptive. This condom-looking tower is one of a kind in the Arabian peninsula, which may be one of the world’s most recognized buildings in the world. The building is a 45 story tower and with construction already commenced, it’s planned to be completed at the end of 2008. As you can see the building is cleverly covered with glass and metal and on the third picture you can see the outer cover represents a nice Islamic pattern design.

The building is very innovational; however, Jean Nouvel is not helping the Arabs by designing the building like this. The Arabs are already outnumbered by foreigners, especially Desis, and I don’t think this will inspire them to have more kids. Lolz, anyways this building is one of a kind and it’s another great addition to the beautiful buildings of the Arab city states.
