If FaceBook goes main stream with their video sharing application then I believe it could be a threat to YouTube’s traffic. FaceBook is a gold mine for its owners, with a huge number of users, and if their users find out about their “hidden” video application, then they’ll upload videos to FaceBook servers, instead of YouTube’s. I mentioned it’s hidden because it’s not quite visible as a main menu item.
I’m a regular user of FaceBook and a regular user of YouTube; however, I spend more time on FaceBook in one day than I do on YouTube in a week. I’m an 22-year-old undergraduate college student, a person who’s in FaceBook’s addicts’ age range; addicts as in what age range majority of its users are in. If there were a lot of unique videos uploaded on FaceBook like YouTube’s videos, then I would stop going to YouTube.com.
I’m not sure if FaceBook will go main stream with their video application, but if they do then YouTube may actually have a challenging competitor.

It will be great, at least no one will be the sole Big Gorrilla of www. Someone new needs to come to the scene now.
