Now that it’s certain that Microsoft is on the process of creating a Zune phone, things may get a bit more competitive in the technology market between Apple and Microsoft.

Apple beat Microsoft in the mp3 player market and it doesn’t look as if Microsoft is going to be put down that easily.

Microsoft already beat Sony by exceeding the popularity in games and in sales of their XBOX 360 against Sony’s PlayStation 3. Microsoft is good to go in the video game market but weather they can beat Apple in the phone market is uncertain.

Microsoft is proud of their Windows Mobile OS installed in the popular HTC phones so obviously Zune phones will most likely have Windows Mobile installed on them.

Apple’s iPhone is not even in the market yet and still people are going crazy to get one for themselves after seeing what the phone can do, that’s smart marketing for you. Let’s see if Microsoft has the same or better innovations to create an advance phone to compete with the iPhone in design, features, and especially in price.
