One of the flaws of a lot of bloggers is the credibility of their info. Some bloggers post a news which has no credibility and claimed that something happened, which may or may not have happened. Few times I make mistakes and base my facts on news that happened before without checking the current status of the news. For example, Weblogs Inc., I didn’t know it was bought out by AOL. I didn’t realize that until one of my readers pointed out for me and went further and criticized me.

However, with each new post you learn more and more about what to write and what not to write depending on the legitimacy of source. Nowadays, I usually post the source of where I get my information such as the exact page of BBC, ITN News, CNN, etc.

Researching to write a good post will help the writer gain credibility and gain the trust of his or her readers.

So, the next time you are writing on current affairs in the world or what so ever, research about it and actually show the source of where you got the news to gain credibility.
