Technorati this site is now ranked to be around 53,000 in the blog rank position. Truly it’s a great success from where I was about two months ago. Every day more and more sites are linking to my site. When I started out in blogging my goal was to be in the top 100,000 of Technorati, after I reached that goal my next goal was to be in the top 50,000. By the rate of back links it looks as if it won’t be long till DesiNotes.com get in Technorati’s top 50,000 blogs.
I learned alot from reading blog tutorials, talking to other bloggers, and just exploring other blogs. My main goal is not to make alot of money, but to get my voice heard in the blogsphere. Blogs are the alternative to the sell out media, and if a blog is well known on the web then anything written on that blog will reach many people.

So, you make money and yet you are honest. But the traditional media makes money and they are liars.
If it wasn’t for traditional media, you wouldn’t know half of what you know today in terms of world events and whatnot.
It’s interesting to know how the bloggers are declaring a war on traditional media, which really created the platform for mass information spread.
Talk about hipocrisy.

tbd, do u think the traditional media, as in “nowadays” and not before, actually tell the entire truth? Don’t you think they get paid millions to keep thier mouth shut? Answer that.

Actually, what you are saying is different. Traditional media, just like bloggers, have their own biases and opinions. For instance, you are from Bangladesh. So obviously when you talk about Bangladesh, you will almost always have a positive tune because of your background. That’s cool. That’s understandable.
But to say that traditional media keeps its mouth shut for millions is pushing it. The only thing a media entity has is its reputation. If things leak out that Fox News or CNN is being paid by Intel or IBM to soften their earnings news, for instance. Guess what – they can say goodbye to their credibility.
Not a single professional media company shuts up for millions or even billions. Sure, they can make their millions and billions now, but they will lose those same millions plus more when the news leaks out. And it usually does leak out.
Now, are some channels/print/online (including bloggers) 100% brutally honest. Nope. If I like Motorola for whatever reason, trust me, I’ll soften even the worst news. It’s not because I’m not being honest, it’s just that I like the company.
It’s very easy (it’s also a trend these days) to label traditional media as corrupt, which is not the case. 10 years down the road when another medium comes along that is even more open than blogging (and blogging becomes just as mainstream as traditional media), guess what – those new users will say the same thing about bloggers as well.

tbd, tell me how often do the media get bribed to keep Muslims in America from expressing their words to defend their faith of Islam? I know everyone is unbiased but the media don’t really give Muslims the oppurtunity to defend themselves. Your comments on this blog are not that positive yet I still let you comment and I don’t delete your coments. I let you express yourself on this blog.

My comments, whether positive or negative, have nothing to do with anything.
So, if the media is paid off to shut off Muslims from defending themselves, who is paying them? The US government? If you really believe that, then I feel sorry for you since you are living in a world that’s full of conspiracy theories.
Also, I usually correct your misinterpretations in certain topics. If you would rather not have someone correct you, then I must say you are oing to be very disappointed when people correct you as you progress through life.
Oh and I haven’t seen anyone on TV blast muslims entirely. Everybody with a brain knows that you can’t generalize. Islam has radicals just like every other religion. But hey, if some radicals who happen to be muslims take part in 9/11, you can’t blame the country for not reacting irrationally.
