No AdSense within the post. In a PPP post do not place any AdSense ad block or any other types of ads within your article. PPP states that there should not be any obstruction within the post and AdSense and any other ads within the post count as an obstruction.
No inline ads. Do not place any Kontera or Intellitxt inline advertisements. Those advertisements count as obstruction to the PPP posts.
Count the words. All of the PPP campaigns require a minimum number of words to be written, such as 50 to 300 words or more per post. Make sure you write the minimum number of words in your post. If you have MS Word then you can check the word count by pasting your post on MS Word and going to Tools > Word Count.
Tell your readers it’s paid. Always show that the PPP post you wrote is paid. You may write something at the end like “This is a sponsored postâ€.
Paste the anchor text. All of the PPP campaigns require you to paste a certain anchor text in your blog. Make sure you remember to do so with your content flow. The anchor text is very important and it’s the main reason of why the campaign is paid for.
Paste Misc. Components. Some campaigns require you to paste images in your posts which are not visible, don’t ignore it; that image is required to be within your post in order to be tracked by PPP. Also, some campaigns require you to paste a sponsor button; don’t forget to place that somewhere in the bottom of your post.
If you blog for PPP, then I hope these rules help in your blogging so your posts won’t be rejected, which can delay your payment.
Did you ever have posts get rejected by PPP? If so, for what reasons?

Ack! I’ve gotten my adsense ads setup so they show up on the single pages automatic.

Hmmm… this pay per post thing seems interesting. I don’t think it allows you to freely write articles you want though.

Great post. I am certainly guilty of not reading the fine print sometimes. The other day I signed up for Amazon’s free two-week trial for free two-week shipping, only to find out that my credit card will be charged $79 unless I remember to cancel within that time period. You’d think I’d have learned by now…

@Shawn: It’s ok as long as they don’t show up within the post itself.
@ Finance Blog: No, you don’t write article just on anything. You have to write on topics they choose for you.
@Michelle: Yeah, I went through the same experience, I canceled that offer two days after I signed up for it.

Sunny, nice article. Just a brief additional note re PayPerPost:
1. It need paid posts to be alternated with unpaid original text posts.
2. Required keywords in Title some times.
3. Required keywords in Post some times.

Thanks for the post.
I’ve been thinking about PPP for a while now, and with the info you just provided I’ll have a better understanding of what is expected.

Shawn

Problem is that they will show up on the single page for the post. I’ve got the wrap around adsense going on in the single page layout.

Hi, great post. My blog just got approved for PPP so your tips really help. Mine was rejected coz I was too eager and wrote one post after another. They rejected saying that I was supposed to post something of my own before writing on another opportunity. LOL.. teach me a lesson there.
Strange though coz the adsense never became an issue although I do have adsense after every post. Do you think I should remove it then?
Thanks
Sunny

@David: I never had to put keywords in my title so thats why I didn’t put it in there. The keywords in the post is the anchor text.
@Sofcore: You’re welcome, the more you know about the service, the better you can work with it.
@Shawn: Use AdSense-Deluxe, with it you have the choice of which post you want the AdSense ad to show up on.
LadyJava: Yeah too many posts can get you rejected. If you have AdSense within the post, then you should remove them; however, if you have the ads after the post or before the post, then it shouldn’t be a problem.
