So what do I mean by “selling the apple”, it’s concept that I developed by reading and hearing many business plans and my experience in the retail industry. If you have a business in which you sell products, then I highly recommend that you think over this concept. May be in the future you may implement this concept in your business.

What is really the “selling the apple” concept?

It’s basically saying, that if I was selling apples then I would rather sell a million apples for one dollar than to sell one apple for a million dollars. It’s simple as that.

If you really think about it, you would never buy any single product for a million dollars. When you are selling something to a consumer think about yourself as the consumer. See yourself as your own shopper and think if it’s a good decision to buy the product for the price asked. Ask yourself weather you would buy your own product for the asking price. If you run a business in which you think about the customer more than making money, as long as there is a little profit from it, then you will run a good business.

So, if you have a product selling business, try it and trust me, you will go a long way with your business.
