You have probably gotten emails from stupid scammers who try to get you to pay for this or that method of getting a high PR. For those who are gullible, they pay and get ripped off only to get information that they can find anywhere on the web.

I wrote a previous post to increase your Technorati’s ranking manually without cheating by swapping links with other bloggers on the Technroati train.

On the post I mentioned BlogCarnival.com. You just submit posts that relates to the subjects of the carnivals and in return you get a link back form the blogs that host those carnivals.

I strongly recommend you submit your post to at least one carnival a day to get link backs and to get some strong exposure.
Start Getting LinkBacks Effectively

My blog received probably around 50-70 linkbacks through blog carnival. So, those blogs that linked back to my site gave me a higher authority for higher rankings on Technorati. I’m at least 180 in authority and around 24,000 in rankings, and it’s only going to increase in the upcoming weeks and months. My site was around 1,000,000+ in Technorati rank, and now I’m the top 25,000 sites. Remember the more relevant sites that link back to your site, the more your PageRank will increase.
