I usually don’t do many reviews but since I stayed in the Pan American hotel I may as well write a post about it.

I stayed there for 3 days. The staffing there was very polite with all the requests I did. They were also very patient with my stupid freind’s random room service requests.

If you flyed from out-of-state from La Gurdia airport or JFK airport then they will bring you and take you to and from the hotel for free. I got a free shuttle ride with my reservation. The hotel is clean and it was warm and perfect for my stay. The Newton subway station was 10 minutes walk away from the hotel.

The hotel was also generous enough to extend my check-out for free till 2 PM, unfortunately my flight was later in the evening so I had to pay an extra $60 to check-out at 6 PM. I didn’t mind paying because I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

I didn’t eat at the hotel because the food was a bit expensive and good ethnic restaraunts were nearby in Jackson Heights.

The Pan American Hotel

Also as mentioned in a previous post, if you wanted to book at the hotel at the lowest possible price then book it at priceline.com. At priceline.com you have the choice of proposing a reasonable price that you want to pay. If the computer accepts your price then you will be automatically charged and your reservation will be set. I got a great deal for $90/night+tax and I’m proud of it.

So, if you wanted to stay at a good hotel with an easy access to Manhattan via subway then go book your reservation at the Pan American hotel through priceline.com.
