A lot of successful people in the world took a lot of time to perfect their services and products before they became big shots and made their fortunes; few had it easy but majority of them didn’t have it that easy. In my opinion everyone in the world who wants to be successful can be successful, but he or she must have the patience to put time into their success.

For example, one story is the creation of the famous KFC, Kentucky Fried Chicken; it’s told that Colonel Harland Sanders, the creator of KFC, tested his secret recipe over 1000 times. Every time he tested his recipe he improved it more and more. After the franchise became very popular in USA, the company owners sold its sovereignty and became a subsidiary of PepsiCo, Inc. for $840 million. Think about it, he tested his recipe over 1000 times, I know I couldn’t stand in the kitchen doing that, but Colonel Sanders spent hours doing it and his idea is worth over a billion dollars currently.

No business becomes successful right away after they start. It took YouTube almost a year to gain the tremendous popularity to be worth over $1.5 billion for Google to buy them out. StevePavlina.com took about two years before it could make around $1000/day from AdSense and to gain the enormous credibility that it has right now.

The reason I wrote this post is to inspire bloggers and other site owners that in order for you to be successful you must give yourself time and you must also put time into whatever business project you’re working on. I started this blog last July, and over time since then I learned so much about blogging as I interact with my readers and with other bloggers. I learned what they want from this blog as I spend more time blogging.

I wanted a work at home blogging business and I know that it’s hard to run one, but with time it becomes easier. If you are a regular reader of this blog I’m sure you noticed that the traffic has grown tremendously from 250 unique hits a day to over 1000 hits a day and it’s still growing. The reason it has grown significantly is due to the fact that I have NOT stopped trying, and I’m giving this blog more and more time to grow as much as it can every day.

The benefits of success with time is self explanatory if you think about it. With time you have the ability to test and find out what works best for your site. With time you have the ability to gain credibility in the field of your choice. With time you have the chance to learn about making money and how to improve in making money.

I have seen many sites that start off with great content, but die down because they don’t become a million dollar success overnight. So, if you want to be successful online or in any field then give yourself time to slowly gain success and learn to improve.
