300, the movie, directed by Zack Snyder, got alot of attention in the box office. The film itself, without good ratings, is amazing; with special effects, intense graphics, and alot of bloody face to face combat to get your blood rushing.

I’m not going to talk about the plot because I don’t want to ruin it for those who are planning on seeing it, even though there isn’t much of a plot just bloody combat. However, I will talk about the movie overall.

Hollywood decided to show nationalism of USA with this movie. The film showed Spartans as America defending the western civilizations and the fight for free men and they showed Persians as the uncilvilized conquering Iran and Iraq.

The movie’s lighting is different and beyond the normal color tone of a regular movie; I guess that’s one of the elements that gave the movie it’s amazing ancient atmosphere, The movie does have sexual content so if you have any kids I wouldn’t recommend taking them. When two characters in the movie were making love I heard the sounds of little children among the audience in the theater; that was surprising.

The camera angles, the costumes, and the acting was great and flawless. 300 is great for movie lovers and for those who enjoy history films.

All and all the movie was great, it had alot of great combat scenes, loyalty, betrayal, kingships, etc.. If you seen and loved Galdiator then you will love 300.
