If you were indexed by Google search bots and when you hit a keyword for your site you may have your site end up in the second, fourth, or even in the seventh page of the search results. If you are serious about running an online business you should do your best to get your site in the first page and in the first five positions of the search results of that page.

So how do you do it?

The easiest way is to build links. You may think this is just another link building post telling about the same things over and over again, but it’s not. When I say build links, it can’t be links just from any other sites. Google’s logarithm of indexing and ranking each site is very clever. They will rank a site in a higher position if that site has alot of links from other sites that share similar content, this leads to giving that site a higher value. By other sites linking to a site with similar content shows Google that the site is very relevant and therefore, Google will raise its ranking in search results.

So, whenever you build links for your site make sure the links that follow to your site from other sites have content revolving around the same subject(s) as yours or close to it. In doing so Google will rank your site in a higher position. The more sites with the similar type of content that link to your site will boost your site up more and more. If you you keep on doing this over and over again then your site will surely be listed on the first page of the Google’s results.
