I have been commenting on big blogs for the past three days and I’m glad that I did. I have been spending about an hour a day reading and commenting in established blogs. In the past three days I have gotten one PR5 site plus two PR6 sites to link back to my site for free, and I have been only been reading on those three blogs. Some of these blogs have the “do follow” function on so if you comment it’ll count towards your link back.

Being a regular commenter is a great way for the visitors of other blogs to be familiar with who you are and especially get familiar with your site.

I learned that a good blogger not only writes good content but also visits and contributes to other blogs. If you do so, then you will get some loving traffic and some loyal readers (hint hint :) ). Go visit other blogs and contribute your thoughts relating to posts in your comments.

Commenting the Right Way
Be an aggressive commenter; however, don’t just comment on anything. Read the blog posts and comment well with your thoughts and be helpful to the writer. Also when you comment do not put your name in the Name field, instead write the “anchor text” that you want to target. Don’t worry about if blogs offer the “do follow” feature so that your comment would count as a link back for search engines, just comment away.

Also, some blogs have the feature called “top commenter”, which is a section in their side bars that offer a free link to the people who comments the most. They don’t require to the “do follow” function to be enabled, as long as you become the top commenter it’ll count as a link back by search engines.

Take an hour and keep doing this everyday on heavy traffic blogs. If you don’t know any high ranking blogs then try NetBusinessBlog.com, it has a PageRank 5, plus go to Technorati.com and look through their 100 top blogs and work your away down to blogs ranked around 12,000. Good luck.
