What is frequency?
Before going deep into the post let’s get familiar with the meaning of “frequency”. Frequency is the number of occurrences within a given time period according to Google’s definition. So, when it comes to blogging, frequency is the number of times a blog publishes a post.

Now that we’re clear on the word “frequency” let’s dive right in to blogging frequency. Not every blog has a frequency, blogs that don’t update often don’t really have much of any frequency. For example, this blog, DesiNotes.com, is updated at least once per day so, the frequency for this blog is one post per day.

Importance of Blogging Frequency
Blogging often is good habit for serious bloggers. Having a blog frequency gives readers a way to predict that a blog is active and no matter what, that blog will be updated. When a bog has a posting frequency the blog won’t be in question whether it will be updated or not. Some blogs are updated every three days, others every two days, and a good number of blogs are updated everyday.

Having a frequency revolves around a blog being updated. A blog without updates is pretty much a dead blog and dead blogs are worthless and no ones pays attention to them. Readers are hungry for news and as bloggers who want to reach it the top should give them the news they hunger for. It’s like a restaurant, if a restaurant doesn’t serve food then no one will come to that restaurant. Feeding readers with useful information and doing it often is a good concept of blogging.

So, what’s your blogging frequency?
