So many people on the web blog and handful of them, who are patient and articulate in writing, are successful. When I say successful I mean their blogs gets heavy traffic and they make a significant amount of money. Some bloggers make enough money to live an independent life, others make enough money to become a millionaire within a year, the so called six-figure income. My friends found out about this and they seeked my help to setup their sites and so I helped them with their blogs.

What is blogging?
For those who do not know what blogging is, it’s an online journal; a blogger updates his or her blog often about his or her day-to-day happenings. However, nowadays blogs are no longer online journals of personal thoughts. Lot of people now blog to provide something valuable to the web and to make money out of it. Some people provide gossips of hollywood actors and actresses other people blog to provide news that are not shown in the media.

Patience
Patience is something that most bloggers don’t have. They blog and blog and if they don’t make a significant income or enough to satisfy themselves then they give up and seek elsewhere to get rich. We all want to get rich ASAP, but the world doesn’t work like that, we need to be patient and work for our money and fortune.

If you write very good content to the best of your abilities and you are is consistent on the amount of times you update your blog then you will slowly gain more and more readers and you will slowly gain a higher rank in search engine listings as more people visit your blog.

Why is blogging so important?
Within the past year blogging has gotten very popular around the world. Blogging allows an individual to express himself or herself to millions of people. Alot of journalists get ideas from different blogs for their articles in news journals, magazines, and news papers. Blogs have gone so far that the media is in competition with bloggers because bloggers will show the truth than to lie and be sell outs to big corporations.

Six Figure Income
Don’t be surprised if I told you that you can be a millionaire by blogging. Some people make their blogs their primary source of income; they offer quality valued information and in return they get paid more than the average American. Usually successful bloggers make over $100,000 a year.

Steve Pavlina blogs to help people in personal development and in return he makes ~$30,000 a month. Darren Rowse blogs to help other bloggers to make money with his online tips and he makes about $16,000 a month. So, blogging has developed into a major multimillion dollar type of business.

Most of their income comes from Google’s famous AdSense ads. Most of my income comes from AdSense as well; however, there are other alternatives such as Yahoo Publisher Network and AdBrite.

Can anyone blog?
Of course anyone can blog, but not everyone is successful. If you have patience, if you have valuable information that you can offer to the web, and if you are commited then you can be on your way to making serious money by writing about what you love to talk about..

When I got serious about my blog desinotes.com, I got around $1-$3 a day on the first month and the revenue is slowly growing. My friends heard about this and they want a piece of the pie. So I helped them with their blogs. I recently installed Wordpress blogging sofware on my friend Moynul’s blog at DesiWords.com. I’m also helping establish another blog for my other friend Lament at CrappyBlogger.com.
