Some bloggers will accept any offers that come to them just to make an extra buck, I on the other hand will not. As a blogger who gains trust from his readers I only promote sites that offer good, clean content.

A while back I got an offer from ReviewMe for $30 to review this Indian video streaming site, similar to YouTube. When I went to check out the site I saw the front page to be well designed, so I decided to start on the review. After clicking on some links here and there on the site, I thought to myself, “hold up”. Since this is a new video site, it will obviously have little to no restrictions of what its users can upload just to have a good user base. I’m not talking about unrestricted copyrighted stuff, I’m talking about unrestricted adult content. The site was full of erotic scenes, and I was pondering whether to continue with this review or not. Fortunately, I made the right decision and rejected the offer. I mean, how am I supposed to review the site? Am I suppose to talk about how many babes can jiggle their booty the best, or how long a couple can have sex? It was ridiculous.

Getting $30 for writing a 100 word review sounds tempting, but I will not accept sites that post adult content. I’m not going to name the site because I don’t want the owner of that site to get on my back, but I just don’t approve of it, therefore I didn’t accept the money.

I would never promote a site, service, or product that I wouldn’t use myself. I think bloggers should realize that the money they get shouldn’t just come from anywhere, but from sources that they approve of. A lot of bloggers won’t agree with me, but that’s my standpoint. What’s yours?
