I feel you have made a good decision. We cant have all sites reviewed just because it earns some money for us.

I almost changed last week to this theme. It’s a great theme though..

I agree with you in that the reviews should be for products or sites that you find yourself useful! Found you through Kumiko as well!

I think you did the right thing by not reviewing it. All publicity, positive or negative is good publicity. And so, even if you would have thrashed that particular site it would still have seen an increase in traffic (based on your negative review).

I admire you for “sticking to your guns” and not turning your back on your beliefs, just for money.

For what it’s worth, you’ve gained another fan.
