One of my friends tried BidClix.com and he’s happy with his revenue. Since his site is all about business he target’s business content. Unlike AdSense BidClix allows their publishers to choose what category of ads should show up on the sites; so BidClix isn’t considered to be contextual advertisements. BidClix believes that no one knows your site better than you so, they don’t allow any program or script to decide which category your site belongs to; you’rein charge of your site.
Some sources say Google takes about 90% of the revenue from AdSense clicks and the rest of the 10% goes to the publisher. So, if I think about it, I have made about over $200,000 in revenue from my online businesses. It explains why Google generated over $10 billion in revenue from their advertisements in three months last year.
Anyways, if you have an established site try BidClix.com and see if it works out for you.

It’s a conspiracy theory that Google keeps 90 percent of the share. If you read their quarterly/annual report, you can tell how much Google generates from Adsense and how much is sent out to publishers. I think the number is around 60-40 (Google – Publisher).
And Google doesn’t make as much money from tiny sites like these, it makes money from big publishers like CNET, About.com, AOL etc.
