One of my goals for this site is have to “work at home” as my main key phrase. I have working hard trying to get this site to at least show up in the top 100 search results. Before this site was ranked in the 36th page but now it’s rising. Fortunately this site is improving in search results ranking day by day.

I did a query search for “work at home” phrase and I got 1,790,000,000 results from Google search with a 190,000+ monthly hits from overture.

As of today, this blog is ranked 111th place on page 12 for “work at home”. Yesterday evening there was 2,000,0000,000 search results and desinotes.com was ranked 192 position on the 20th page of the search results.

How I’m doing this?
Keyword is one of the main things that help in search results ranking but what also helps in my opinion is anchor texting. I recently did a review of Tyler Cruz’s blog and submitted it to him. I asked him to anchor text “work at home make money online blog” in his next link bait batch. He accepted my review and he will anchor text my site with that title on an upcoming post.

Tyler Cruz’s blog is PR5 and this blog is a PR3 so if he linked to my blog then that will boost my blog’s position alot. I would rather have a hanful of PR4+ sites link to me than to have many PR0-PR3 sites link to me. The higher the the PR of a site linking to you the better because that will show Google the great relevancy and importance of your site. So if I get more and more sites with high PR’s to link to me then Google will show my blog in a higher position for the “work at home” phrase.

So, if you are working to gain traffic from organic search results then work on your keywords, PR links, and anchor texts.
