Sitting properly and using your hands the right way with the keyboard and the mouse are vital for the good health of the joints of the hand and to keep fatigue and pain at a minimum. The below guidelines are helpful.

Although there is not enough evidence there is every chance of developing what is called as Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. CTS is a condition where one of the main nerves of the wrist gets compressed leading to muscle weakness in the hand. Forceful and repetitive use of the hands for many years in a wrong way is likely to cause CTS. Try to keep the body properly aligned with the keyboard and the computer. Do not get into a situation as in the below pictures.
