In present days a bachelor degree will hardly get you a good job. Employers seek people who have further education such as a masters degree or a PhD degree. In my college I find the classes and the teachers a joke. College, in my opinon, is a total waste of my father’s money. The teachers can’t teach, they don’t take attendance, and they don’t give homework: what does all this result in? Bad grade distribution among the students in the class. If teachers really cared about their students getting a good education then they would take attendance and give homework.
There are a handful of college students who make more money than the average college student or the average college teacher. We have the internet and we have the urge and motivation to be rich. Business students in college, who plan on starting their own businesses, are only wasting their time. I have friends, who are business majors, sometimes come to me for money making advice.
Running a business is like driving a car. Starting off and learning is the challange but once you spend time on it you get the hang of it.
90% of businesses in America fail because of the lack of experience the business owner has.
I have made over $10,000 running my online business and I’m slowly expanding my profits by investing more. College will not give students the one thing they need in life, which is experience. You actually learn the real thing in the field. Education is very important; however, I don’t need to read big boring books written over 50 years ago to get a bachelor’s degree which is hardly worth anything in the business field.
My best advice, for those who want to start a business, is to talk to freinds or family who have a business and learn from them. Join business forums and attend business seminars and learn as much as you can. Work in small businesses and learn how businesses function, thats way you know the pros and cons of the type of businesses you are in.
I am currently a pre-medicine student with a major in History and minor in Chemistry. The chose to practice in the medical field becuase I love helping people and there is job security for the rest of my life. I love money and I love how it comes to my pocket; I’ve attended business seminars and I have talked to alot of people and they all agreed that to have a good business you don’t need a college education.
